Poplar Union is a fully-fledged arts and community centre which was purpose built to showcase and nurture the untapped creativity of Poplar. We provide a communal, safe, social and creative space accessible to all.
Committed to supporting the local community through art, culture and wellbeing, we offer a diverse programme of events, including family activities, performances in comedy, spoken word, music, dance and theatre, health and wellbeing classes and much more – all contributing to creating a real destination for the community. We also have a warm and welcoming staff team ready to greet you at the door and show you round the building and even make you a cuppa!
On site at Poplar Union, you will also find e5 Roasthouse, a calm and sociable cafe space offering top quality coffee and a nutritious, seasonal and ethically sourced menu.
